"I think it's a sin to sit down and let your life go, without making a try for it."
Dreams
So to begin with I shall say that I found it interesting when I started singing and How can I ignore the boy next door became, How can I adore the boy next door. haha.. a couple sour notes at the end, but all in all.. not half bad. That's my summary of my audition today. On to more important subjects though, I had the weirdest dream last night, sort of like my life inserted into my own version of Crime and Punishment. I told Ms. Ferrell about my dream, and she said I should write it down so what better place than this:
I woke up and walked down the steps into the den where my mom was watching the morning news.
"Today's your exectution," she said matter-of-factly.
"What.. what am I being executed for?" came my reply.
"For that person you murdered."
"But it wasn't my fault. I didn't mean to. Can't we have an appeal?"
"No, honey, now you know we can't afford to pay for an appeal for you."
Then I started getting angry about not being able to wear the prom dress I bought yesterday.
"Well, we had to let you go about your every day life, or you'd go crazy," was her response.
Then, I got frustrated.
"But no one even knows I'm, being executed... I've got to call Sarah Sheppard."
Then I proceed back upstairs to try to call/text/IM Sarah Sheppard.. when my dad calls..
"Hurry up, we're gonna be late for your execution."
"Just give me five minutes.. I have to call Sarah Sheppard."
"Well.. you can drive yourself. I'm going without you" (Side note.. I think I hear that phrase once a week.)
He leaves... I continue frantically trying to get in touch with Sarah Sheppard... my mom calls me
"Hurry up sweetie, you're going to be late, and you don't want to get in trouble."
"Alright, alright. I'm going."
I head out the doorl; get in my car; drive down Meadowlark; turn on Peacehaven, then turn where Jonestown should be, but it looks nothing like the road I am driving down. (Side note.. I think this part may relate to me trying to find Sarah Sheppard since she lives off Jonestown). Suddenly I realize that I don't even know where my execution is going to be, so I pull over at a deserted gas station to call my mom (why did I pull over. I would never pull over). I call and I ask her where my execution is at, to which she replies.
"It's at the LJVM coliseum."
Then, I woke up.
Seriously, that was one of the most vivid dreams I've ever had. I woke up and I remembered ever detail so clearly that I almost thought it was real, as bizarre as it was, for a few seconds. The only dream that comes close to being as vivid was that leperchaun dream I had that one time...
